A fast geography quiz covering all 193 UN member states plus Vatican City, Kosovo, Taiwan and Palestine. Play Country → Capital or Capital → Country, worldwide or one continent at a time. Wrong options come from the same continent, so you can't guess by region. Classic rounds give you 10 questions with a timer, and faster answers and streaks score more. Marathon runs through every country in a region with 3 lives. At the end you see each mistake with the correct answer. Your best score for each mode and your mastery of each continent are saved on your device.
How to play
Choose a direction (Country → Capital or Capital → Country), a region (World or a continent), and Classic (10 timed questions) or Marathon (every country in the region, 3 lives). Pick the right answer out of four before the timer bar runs out. Each correct answer is worth 100 points plus up to 100 more for speed, and streaks add a bonus of up to +50%. Countries with more than one capital, such as South Africa and Bolivia, show a note explaining the others.

Tips and strategy
- Answer fast: each correct answer earns 100 points plus a speed bonus of up to 100 more that shrinks as the 10-second timer runs down.
- Protect your streak, since each correct answer in a row adds 10% more points, up to a +50% multiplier from the sixth answer onward.
- Letting the timer run out counts as a wrong answer, so in Marathon a guess never costs more than a timeout does.
- The wrong options come from the same continent, so study one continent at a time instead of relying on geography to rule answers out.

How does Marathon mode work in World Capitals?
Marathon goes through every country in the region you chose. You have 3 lives, and each wrong answer or timeout costs one. The run ends when you have answered every country or run out of lives.
How is the score calculated in World Capitals?
A correct answer is worth 100 points plus up to 100 more for speed, based on how much of the 10-second timer is left. Your streak then multiplies that by up to 1.5. Wrong answers and timeouts score nothing and reset the streak.
How does continent mastery work in World Capitals?
A country counts as mastered once you have answered it correctly at least once. Mastery percentages for each continent are saved on your device.
Are best scores tracked separately in World Capitals?
Yes. Your best score is saved separately for each combination of Classic or Marathon, question direction and region.
