An offline territory-grab arena against six computer players. Slide your glossy cube out of your land to draw a trail, then get back home to claim everything the loop encloses. Cut a rival's trail to knock them out, but if anyone crosses yours, your run is over.
How to play
Leave your land to draw a trail and loop back home to capture the enclosed area. Touching any trail knocks out its owner, including your own trail and the arena wall for you. Knock out every CPU player or own the whole arena to win; your best land percentage is saved.
Controls
Arrow keys or WASD to steer, swipe on touch screens, or move the mouse over the arena to steer toward the pointer. P or Esc pauses.
Tips and strategy
- Keep early loops small; you start with only a 5 by 5 patch in a 60 by 60 arena, and short trips home leave less trail for rivals to cut.
- Your loop can swallow rival land too, and if a capture takes every last cell a CPU owns, that CPU is knocked out.
- CPU players head home when a rival gets near their trail, so strike at long trails that stretch far from their owner's land.
- If you and a rival move onto the same square, the one standing on its own land survives, so defend from inside your territory.
- You cannot reverse straight back, and touching your own trail or the arena wall ends your run, so plan turns before you leave home.
Turf Wars FAQ
How do I win Turf Wars?
Knock out all six CPU players or own the entire arena. Your run ends if you hit the wall, touch your own trail, or a rival crosses your trail.
What happens to a knocked-out player's land in Turf Wars?
All of it turns neutral and their trail disappears, so anyone can capture that area on their next loop.
What does Turf Wars save?
Your best land percentage, games played and wins are saved in this browser's local storage. The best percentage is the peak share of the arena you held during a run.
Privacy and saves
