A top-down parking lot puzzle. Every car can only drive straight forward or backward along its own lane. Tap a car to drive it forward, or swipe to choose a direction, and it rolls until it leaves the lot or bumps into another car or a planter with a honk. Cleared cars drive off along the perimeter road. Work out the order that clears the whole lot across 40 levels that grow from a 4x4 lot to a packed 8x8 one, each solvable in exactly one move per car.

How to play

Tap a car to drive it forward, or swipe along its length to drive it forward or back. A car keeps rolling until it exits the lot or bumps into something. Clear every car to finish the level. Match the par (one move per car) for three stars. Use Undo to take back a move and Hint to highlight the next good move.

Controls

Tap or click a car to drive forward; swipe or drag along the car to pick forward or reverse. Keyboard: arrow keys select a car, Enter drives forward, B backs up, Z undoes, H shows a hint, R restarts.

Tips and strategy

  • Start with cars that already have a clear lane to the edge; driving a car out never blocks another, so each exit only opens more room.
  • Tapping always drives a car forward, so swipe instead to back out a car whose nose is blocked but whose rear lane is open to the edge.
  • A car that slides partway and stops still costs a move, so for three stars only drive cars that can leave the lot in one go.
  • A tap that just bumps into something without moving the car does not count as a move, so a blocked tap never hurts your star rating.
  • If Hint reports that the lot is stuck, use Undo to take back the partial slides that jammed it instead of restarting from scratch.

Parking Jam FAQ

How do I get three stars in Parking Jam?

Clear the lot in no more moves than par, which equals the number of cars, so every car has to leave in a single move. Finishing a few moves over par (roughly a third more, at least two) earns two stars, and anything beyond that earns one.

Does Undo count against my moves in Parking Jam?

No. Undo takes back the last move and lowers your move counter by one, so you can still reach par and three stars after undoing.

Are Parking Jam levels the same every time?

Yes. Each of the 40 levels is built from a fixed seed, so a given level number always has the same lot layout, and every one can be cleared in exactly one move per car.

Does Parking Jam save my progress?

Yes. Your unlocked levels, current level and best star rating for each level are saved in this browser's local storage.
