A flick-to-shoot basketball shootout in a packed arena. Swipe up from the ball to arc it at the rim with real 3D bounce physics off the rim and backboard. Clean swishes earn a bonus, three in a row sets the ball on fire for double points, and after 10 points the hoop starts sliding side to side. Play a 60-second shootout or a 3-strikes survival run.

How to play

Drag or flick up from the ball toward the hoop; a longer flick throws deeper and the flick's direction sets your aim. A make scores 2, a swish (no rim or backboard) scores 3. Three swishes in a row puts you on fire and doubles points until you miss. From 10 points the hoop moves side to side, and it speeds up every 10 points after that. 60s Shootout: score as much as you can before the clock runs out (a shot in the air when time expires still counts). 3 Strikes: keep shooting until you miss three times.

Controls

Drag/flick up from the ball to shoot (mouse or touch). Keyboard: an aim arrow swings side to side; hold Space to charge power and release to shoot. Esc pauses.

Tips and strategy

  • Aim for swishes: a clean make is worth 3 instead of 2, and three swishes in a row set the ball on fire.
  • Once you are on fire, every make scores double, even one off the rim or backboard, and only a miss puts the fire out.
  • The ball starts from a slightly different spot after each shot, so adjust your flick's direction instead of repeating the same swipe.
  • The hoop starts sliding at 10 points and moves faster every 10 points after that, so lead the rim in the direction it is moving.
  • On keyboard, the power meter rises and then falls back while you hold Space, so release at the right moment instead of holding longer.

Hoop Shot FAQ

How does scoring work in Hoop Shot?

A make is worth 2 points and a swish that touches neither the rim nor the backboard is worth 3. While you are on fire, those values double to 4 and 6.

Does a shot count if time runs out in Hoop Shot?

Yes. In 60s Shootout, a shot that is already in the air when the clock hits zero still counts if it goes in.

Does Hoop Shot save my best score?

Yes. Your best score for 60s Shootout and for 3 Strikes are saved separately in this browser's local storage, along with the last mode you chose.
