An endless voxel-style hopper: guide a chicken forward across busy roads, log-filled rivers, lily pads and railway crossings with flashing warning lights. Grab coins, beat your furthest row, and keep moving — linger too long and a hawk swoops in.

How to play

Hop forward one row at a time to score. Dodge cars and trucks, wait for gaps, ride logs and lily pads across rivers (the water is deadly and logs drift off-screen), and cross railways before the warning light turns into a train. Trees and rocks block your path. Collect coins on the ground. The camera keeps creeping forward — fall too far behind and the hawk catches you. Score is the furthest row you reach.

Controls

Tap, click, Space, W or Up arrow hops forward; swipe or use the arrow keys / A, S, D (or the on-screen buttons) to hop left, right or back; P or Escape pauses.

Tips and strategy

  • Keep moving forward: the camera speeds up as your score climbs, and falling almost three rows behind lets the hawk catch you.
  • When a railway warning light starts flashing, the train arrives about 1.4 seconds later, so only cross if you can clear it now.
  • Hop off a log before it carries you past the side of the screen; being swept off the edge ends the run.
  • Lily pads only follow a log lane, so ride a log sideways until you line up with the pad you need.
  • Traffic and rivers get tougher the further you go, reaching full difficulty around row 160, so bank rows early.

Hop Road FAQ

How is the score calculated in Hop Road?

Your score is the furthest row you reach. Hopping back does not lower it, and coins are counted separately.

Can I hop backward or sideways in Hop Road?

Yes. Swipe, use the arrow keys or A, S and D, or tap the on-screen buttons to hop left, right or back. The camera keeps creeping forward, though, so don't stay back for long.

Does Hop Road save my best score?

Yes. Your best row and your total coins are saved in this browser.
