A glossy path tower defense game. Place arrow, cannon, frost, and mage towers on stone pads along a winding road, upgrade them twice, and stop 20+ waves of goblins, ogres, armored beetles, bats, and bosses before they reach your castle across three hand-built maps.

How to play

Enemies march along the road toward your castle; each one that gets through costs lives (bigger enemies cost more), and you lose at 0 of 20 lives. Tap a stone pad to build one of four towers: Arrow (fast single-target, hits flyers), Cannon (splash damage, ground only), Frost (slows enemies) or Mage (magic that ignores armor). Tap a tower to upgrade it (two upgrades each), sell it for 70% of what you spent, or set its target to First, Strongest or Closest. Every kill pays gold. Start wave 1 when ready; after each wave finishes arriving a countdown begins, and calling the next wave early pays bonus gold. Survive all waves (20, 22 or 25 depending on the map) to win 1–3 stars based on lives left.

Controls

Tap or click a pad or tower to open its menu, then tap Build, Upgrade, Sell or a targeting mode. The big wave button (or the swords badge by the cave) starts or calls the next wave. Buttons toggle 1×/2× speed, pause, and open the map list. Keyboard: arrow keys pick a pad, Enter opens its menu, 1–4 build, U upgrade, S sell, W call wave, F speed, P or Esc pause.

Tips and strategy

  • Cannons cannot hit flying bats, so keep at least one Arrow, Frost or Mage tower covering the road once bats appear from wave 6.
  • Mage towers ignore armor, making them the best answer to Shellbacks, which shrug off 60 percent of physical damage.
  • Calling the next wave early pays bonus gold based on the seconds left on the countdown, and the bonus grows in later waves.
  • Bosses arrive on wave 10, wave 20 and the final wave, and the Warlord costs 8 lives if it reaches your castle.
  • Frost slows enemies and gains splash at its top upgrade, but the Warlord only takes half the slow effect.
